  • small and relatively off the beaten tourist track, but full of information concerning the events in Ireland in the mid 1800's and also information about world wide famine and hunger.  more »
  • Booked this based on the website and what was promised to be a wonderful Christmas experience for the family. Included was supposed to be: ‘Mrs Claus, traditional crafts, hot chocolate and petting....  more »
  • Good educational value from the house tour.. It's a bit damp in the house so be wary if you suffer from allergies etc. The Famine Museum tour is super informative.. Some of the audio and video displays could be improved though... Shaky video recording and tinny sounding audio. Still a very worthwhile couple of hours!
  • A beautiful place to spend the day with your family. Aswell as the house behind is a walk through forest and a OUTSTANDING garden. 100% would recommend
