We started out and took the long path. A decent climb. Not too hard, not too easy. Be ready to climb rocks. Otherwise a great view. more »
The views of the valleys, sea and surrounding hills are amazing. You can see Kylemore Abbey as you near the top. Sheep walk with and around you on the trail. The round trip took us about 3 hours.
Great for family day hike. You can chose 3 routes depending on difficulty and length. The red route takes you to the peak of the Diamond Hill which is about 460m. It is quite steep just before the summit but on the way down it's very easy. P.s- If you're hiking in the summertime put sun cream on! You may not think you're getting burnt when hiking but you can very easily. Be careful 😊
