This is on the grounds of the Ballymascanlon Hotel on the Cooley Peninsula and is accessible after a ten minute walk on the path through the golf course. There is another ancient tomb beside it... more »
There are more interesting examples, they are usually harder to get to though, this one has the advantage of easy access and amenities nearby.
Nice giant dolmen, with a small nice walk to reach it. You can pass through a golf field or approach coasting someone's house. Nice coffe house and souvenir shop too. A nice place where to spend a couple of relaxing hours.
