Wolves, bears, panthers, chamois, marmots, lynx, deer, squirrels, otters, and foxes live in a semi-open environment at Parc Animalier Des Pyrenees, where they are free to express their wild behavior. More than 100 species live in this 10-hectare (25-acre) natural park overlooking the Pyrénées mountain range. Children love the hands-on activities, such as feeding the marmots; there’s also a“footprints” path that teaches them to track and understand wild animals. In observation platforms at each enclosure, trainers to explain the lives of each animal and their biology, reproduction process, habits, and behavior. Fifteen separate sites explore animals from around the world. Plan to see Parc Animalier Des Pyrenees and other attractions that appeal to you using our Ayzac-Ost trip itinerary planning tool.

We really liked it here. The backdrop of the foothills of the Pyrenees made it extra special. Strangely the zoo was very empty considering we went at the start of the summer holidays. We are not complaining though! We would recommend it.
Animals well cured and nice enviornments. Really loved feeding and touching the marmottes.
