Running along the perimeter of Stanley Park, Vancouver Seawall stretches uninterruptedly along the water for almost 30 km (18 mi). Arguably the most popular feature within the park, the seawall provides city dwellers with an outdoor venue for jogging, cycling, and walking. The pathway features two distinct sections, one for pedestrians and the other for inline skaters and bikers. Follow the posted signs, use the seawall safely, and prepare to share the path with other recreationists, who come in droves on sunny days and weekends. Vancouver Seawall is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , world travel planner Edition.

Vancouver Seawall gives one as much joy stripped down to shorts & t-shirt to catch the sunβs rays or bundled up to protect again the cold. Both are exhilarating in their own way. Waking the seawall... more »

Beautiful. Welcoming. Serenity personified. Clean. Quiet. Great for a lover's stroll or indeed any kind of stroll. I estimate a 1KM walk if you stick to the wall (path) but it's probably more. Some nice little cafΓ© around the quays and town is a stone's throw away so there is the usual variety of mall and shops and all of the activities that these offer. There's also a casino. I didn't go in as it looked really seedy - that said, it did seem to attract a fairly hefty crowd. Just across the road are a number of places where you can book sea/ocean tours that take you to unbelievably beautiful places to do whale watching and to see sea lions and all manner of ocean life. Definitely worth booking a trip. Massively, massively recommended ππΏ ππΏ ππΏ ππΏ ππΏ ππΏ ππΏ ππΏ

Vancouver is a beautiful city. Having the opportunity to see the city from the seawall is amazing. The walk is beautiful. Go at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere. You will meet people rollerblading, jogging, biking, walking pets... Room for everyone.
