One of Vancouver's most peaceful and interesting nature park with miles of trails for walks and hikes. The trails are well maintained. It is a vast area. Depending on the time or the day of the week, sometime it is very quiet here. Some people like this quietness. And, though Vancouver is generally a safe place, it is still a good idea to be with a companion or a group, if one wants to explore areas deep inside the park.

Favourite spot in the City for off-leash spot. Love listening, smelling and watching all the wildlife and variations in trees. I come here on my own all the time as it's well frequented and safe. The view from the West Canyon trail through to the north is unbelievable. Can get a little muddy after a good rainfall and does tend to stay cooler and with some ice and snow when it falls so be prepared. There is a bathroom at the trailhead and paths are well maintained.
