  • Well it is usually cold and often rainy, but on a warm summer day, this beach is lovely and a good place for a dip. Otherwise just take a stroll and enjoy the great views.  more »
  • Pretty cool hangout to watch the sunset by the water. We could spend more time there, but it was too crowded for comfort.  more »

  • Recommend this place for visitors or those that are new to the city. We sometimes visit just for a stroll. It encapsulates the beauty of Vancouver very well..beach, cityscape, and mountains.
  • Kitsilano Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Vancouver, especially in the warm summer months. Located at the north edge of the Kitsilano neighbourhood, the beach faces out onto English Bay (geographical coordinates 49°16′26″N 123°9′18.4″W). The beach is home to the longest swimming pool in Canada, the salt-water outdoor Kitsilano Pool, operated by the Vancouver Park Boardand open annually from May to September.
