  • Came here when I was a kid and I remember it to be more water coming from the falls to the point you had to wear some sort of cover so you wouldn't get wet. Came back this summer and the falls was VERY little compared to how I saw it back then but still beautiful. It's a nice place to stop if you've been driving for a while but it is a park with picnic tables, there are no restaurants around so be prepared to pack your own food. Their is a small gift shop store at the location but that is it. The little river is really calming. A great place to meditate in the morning and just feel connected to nature.
  • Shannon Falls is amazing and the biggest advantage is that it's easily reached from Vancouver. The falls itself are simply awesome. The adjoining topography is full of green vegetation and a creek meanders through alongside the pathway to the falls. You could literally spend your entire day here. The drive from Vancouver is good with many vantage viewing points alongside the road offering breathtaking vistas on clear sunny days.
