Mount Fromme is a mountain on the North Shore of Vancouver, British Columbia, and a key North American mountain biking destination. Looking towards the North of the Burrard Inlet three mountains are clearly visible (Grouse Mountain, Mount Seymour, and Mt. Fromme). Mt. Fromme (commonly referred to as Grouse Mountain because of its proximity to the ski resort of that name) has downhill trails that have made a name for the North Shore riding style. Mount Fromme features various trails, many of which are part of the NSMBA (North Shore Mountain Biking Association). Some of these trails are sponsored by companies which provide money to maintain the trails. There is also a nudist club called Van Tan Nudist Club past the second switch back on mountain highway. My Fromme is a great place to visit since the new parking lot was constructed at the top of mountain highway back in 2017. Head up and go for a hike or bike ride. Take time to explore the numerous..... more »

In the winter season, this mountain is very good for snowshoeing. Nicely calm and not crowded. But be careful, you could be a first person to break trail.

Hike was great but often very hard to find the path! Sometimes you are on a road so watch out for cars! USE A MAP on your phone!!!! Tells you where it is! It has a part with a huge slope that is covered in bushes. Yes, that is the entrance haha! We didn’t think it was and walked by it! The top is refreshing but there is not flagging tape. Had to make our own path and remember it! Mostly snow up top when we went! Slippery and you’re feet may go right through it! Super fun and adventurous!!
