Scenic Caves Nature Adventures is a great place to stop in the Blue mountains region for fun activities in the winter. They have snow shoeing and cross country skiing with multiple groomed trails to choose from at your own convenience. There is a very large suspension bridge to travel across with snow shoes that provides a beautiful view. The outdoor fireplace is a nice touch as it's great to warm up between trails, or before heading out. It seems they offer many summer activities too such as zip lining so I will definitely be back!
Skied here for 3 hours on a Saturday on the medium level trails. All trails are very well marked and beautifully groomed for classic and skate. They are also very wide. The chalet has two wood burning stove which are great to have to dry off after skiing. There is a wax hut where the iron, scrappers and brushes are made available, but you will need to bring your own wax and do it yourself... minus half a star for that, however, I was pleasantly surprised by the little food counter in the chalet which offered excellent vegetarian burgers, so a full star for that bonus. Overall an excellent facility, more so for families and a little less so for the hard core racers but I saw a few of those too.
