Dated to 340 million years, Jenolan Caves represent the oldest known cave system on Earth. The site's main attractions are ten caves filled with ancient limestone formations. You can drop by for a short tour, lasting only a couple of hours and visiting only one cave, or arrange to stay for an entire week and explore all ten caves currently open to the public. A variety of educational and inexpensive family-oriented tours are available on a daily basis.  Frequent underground concerts by Australia's notable performers are held in several caves. You can also choose to undertake a series of nature walks through the rugged mountain bush, all of which are clearly marked and free of charge.     What a magnificent cave! So many colours and shapes! Geoff, our guide was very informative, giving us a history of the area and how the caves were formed. A lot of time and money has been spent...  more »

    We did the Lucas Cave, wow it was fantastic, our guide Belinda was so knowledgeable and kept us on our toes, both f us who are in our 70’s kept up and thoroughly enjoyed our experience.  more »

    Jaw dropping when we arrived. I enjoyed the drive down, nail biting for the family. One lane road - reversed back up a way to let a bus past. Great fun :)
